The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, mature individual with excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will be able to work independently as well as a part of a dynamic team. Patience and a love of children is mandatory. The successful applicant will be a part of a team providing an emergent curriculum and safe learning environment for children. RECE preferred. Current CPR and First Aid required. Current criminal reference check required.

Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences based on observations of the children’s interests.

Ensure positive interactions and behaviour guidance for children that encourages self-regulation and healthy self-esteem.

Ensure the safety of the children and their environment.

To work and speak effectively and professionally with parents, families, outside agencies, and other team members.

Effective interpersonal skills under all types of conditions, exhibiting a supportive and positive approach.

Contribute to the on-going operations of the centre ensuring centre policies and Ministry standards are followed and maintained.

Promote the centre within the community.
Start wage $19.25-$21.65/hour
